Neckwear

Neck gaiter designed at the request of the security forces to protect the neck area from eventual cuts and fire. It is made from two layers of Nomex® with fire resistant and antistatic properties, and a Dyneema® anti-cut woven layer in the lower middle part.

Thanks to its versatility and elasticity, this neck gaiter can be worn in different positions to expand the protection zone.

Fire Resistant Fabric tested and certified to offer protection against heat and flames.

ANTISTATIC

Certified product that incorporates protective fabric with electrostatic properties to prevent the accumulation of electrostatic charges that eventually can generate sparks. A spark is capable of causing a fire or explosion under certain circumstances.

Moisture Management

Fabric structure that transfers sweat and vapor away from the body through the fabric. Provides comfort and helps keeping body temperature stable.

STRETCH FABRIC

Bidirectional elastic fabric for excellent fit and comfort.

COMPOSITION

64% M-Aramid Nomex, 12% Dyneema®, 8% Glass Fiber + PTFE, 5% Polyamide, 4% P-Aramid Kevlar, 4% Elastane,
3% Carbon Fiber P-140.

PPE CERTIFICATIONS

Product certified as Personal Protective Equipment against heat and/or flame exposure in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/425, with EU Type Examination certification in accordance with Standards EN ISO 13688:2013 Protective Clothing - General Requirements; and EN ISO 11612:2015 against thermal flammability (A), convective heat (B), radiant heat (C) and contact heat (F) risks with the performance level specified for each product.

Product certified as Personal Protective Equipment after obtaining EU Type certification as provided in Regulation (EU) 2016/425 and in accordance with Standards EN ISO 13688:2013 Protective clothing - General requirements, and with Section 3.3 of Annex II of Regulation (EU) 2016/425 (protection against mechanical in-juries by means of resistance to gashing by sharp objects). DYNEEMA® ANTI-CUT TECHNOLOGY

Dyneema® is a highly advanced fiber based on a polythylene with an ultra-high molecular weight, making it 15 times stronger than steel. In addition, producte made with Dyneema® Diamond Technology benefit from a single yarn solution that is much thinner than conventional fibers – innovated to deliver similar cut protection performance, without glass, basalt or steel fiber reinforcements. The result is a product that feel like a second skin, yet still deliver a high level of cut protection. 

NOMEX® ULTIMATE FR FABRIC

NOMEX® is a meta-aramid fiber invented and manufactured by DuPont™. Nomex® has flame-retardant properties, is resistant to high temperatures and will not melt, drip, or combust in air. This high level of protection is engineered into the fibre’s molecular structure, it’s not chemical, which means the heat and flame resistance of NOMEX® is inherent and permanent and will last the life of the garment. As well as resisting extreme temperatures, thanks to its advanced thermo-technology, garments made with NOMEX® offer optimum comfort and durability.
