Crosstech Balaclava

Designed to offer protection in cool outdoor environments and situations with strong or moderate winds, this Cross Tech balaclava incorporates a Gore® Windstopper membrane that blocks the passage of wind. In addition to repelling water, it prevents skin contact and reduces the impact of the cold on wearers.

Providing full head and neck protection in one single, seamless piece, the recycled polyester fabric is soft and pleasant to the touch making it very comfortable to wear, and at the same time it is suitable to be worn under a safety helmet, since the upper head fabric is made with Thermo Fastwick, a very warm and breathable fabric that provides good moisture management to prevent sweat from concentrating and cooling, while the lower part incorporates Carvico brushed fabric for increased thermal insulation.

BRUSHED fabric FLEECE

The product includes an inner fleece made of brushed fabric. Brushed fabrics stand out for their softness and comfort, their lightness and slightly open structure. Thanks to the brushing process, the fabric surface becomes velvety. The air flow among the fibers increases, and the fabric thermal insulation properties improve. Brushed fabrics are pleasant to the touch and breathable, moisture wicking and perfect for workwear since they can keep the body humidity and temperature steady.

BREATHABLE

Fabric structure that transfers sweat and vapor away from the body through the fabric, allows air to flow in.

BONDED SEAMS

Threadless seams used to join fabrics together by using bonding technology in order to achieve an optimal fit and sealing, while avoiding skin friction.

Products made with GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® are totally windproof and deliver maximum breathability to keep you comfortable in cool and windy weather conditions. The totally windproof, yet extremely breathable membrane blocks the wind and allows vapor to escape. This combination of protection and breathability minimizes the wind’s chilling effect while reducing the risk of overheating when you are active. A durable outer fabric treatment provides you additional protection of water repellency.
